Dry Supply Forklift Receiver
About The Role
The Dry Supply Operator plays a critical role in ensuring raw materials and packaging are received, stored, managed, and supplied to production efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for managing inventory using FIFO and batch controls, operating forklifts, supporting production schedules, and maintaining food safety, quality, and traceability standards. The role works closely with Packaging Supervisors and warehouse partners to ensure uninterrupted production and inventory accuracy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supply and manage raw materials from the warehouse to staging and drop areas using FIFO and batch management
- Receive, inspect, unload, and store dry ingredients, packaging, maintenance materials, and hazardous goods per McCain procedures
- Operate forklifts in accordance with company policies and maintain McCain Forklift Certification
- Keep packaging lines supplied with materials based on production schedules
- Perform cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and record product locations in SAP
- Review bills of lading, record seals (including photography), and verify load condition and counts
- Apply allergen and non-allergen labels and pull raw material samples for release and monitoring
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dry supply warehouse and batter storage areas, including downtime sanitation
- Cross-train for the Dry Supply Lead/Coordinator role and provide daily breaks for other personnel
- Support SQCDP objectives by applying McCain Competitive Edge and Lean Manufacturing practices
- Complete required documentation accurately and perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- A high school diploma or GED
- One year of forklift operating experience
- Ability to acquire and maintain McCain Forklift Certification and Operator Training Program certification
- Basic computer skills with the ability to work in SAP and AS400 systems
- Strong understanding of FIFO, batch management, and inventory controls
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Strong math skills and ability to complete accurate, detailed documentation
- To work independently, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attendance, dependability, and a demonstrated commitment to safety
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

This role is part of the Dry Supply and Warehouse Operations team, working closely with Packaging Supervisors, production teams, and inventory coordinators. The team is focused on safety, accuracy, and operational excellence, ensuring materials are available when needed to support continuous production.

Compensation Package
- Starting at 21.82 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
