About the role
The primary responsibility of a Dry-Mill Production Operator at Didion Milling & BioScience is to operate and maintain milling equipment to produce corn-based products efficiently. This includes monitoring production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate milling equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and address production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar operational role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Qualifications
- Experience with milling machinery and related operations.
- Knowledge of food processing and quality control principles.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
