Dry Ice Operator

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Dry Ice Operator in Muscatine, IA. This position operates a forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport product. The ideal candidate must have more than three (3+) years of general manufacturing or warehousing experience, forklift experience, a High School Degree or GED, and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport product
• Show mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve
• Able to lift, rotate, and lower 60lbs consistently throughout the workday
• Professionally interact with shipping companies, customers, safety, customer service, and/or branch management
• Communicate effectively and act with a sense of urgency when necessary
• Follow Linde's safety procedures and encourage others to do the same
• Be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean work environment by keeping area organized and clean
• Work a flexible work schedule to meet business demands

Requirements

• More than three (3+) years of general manufacturing or warehousing experience
• Forklift experience
• High School Degree or GED
• Basic computer knowledge
