Dry Ice Operator

Duties

• Loading and packaging dry ice daily in accordance with quality standards.
• Operating a pallet jack or forklift to maneuver dry ice boxes as required to meet production needs.
• Complying with all established safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues with dry ice production equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members and other personnel.

Requirements

• Able to operate a forklift; general knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.
• Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts.
• Able to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, visually and verbally with internal and external contacts.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently be required to lift up to 70 pounds.

Skills

• Operate and maintain dry ice pellet and block equipment.
• Load and package dry ice daily.
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Communicate verbally and in writing.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.

Pay

Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr. OXARC offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
