Drums instructor needed in Brookeville, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Drums. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Brookeville, MD area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach drums lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Be available to travel to students in the Brookeville, MD area if needed.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Keep organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Organized and on time for all lessons.
• Must have one of the following:
• A degree in music.
• Enrollment in a music program.
• Professional performing experience.
• Previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractor pay rates between $20-$30 per hour.
• Ability to set your own schedule and curriculum/lesson plans.
• Knowledge of how to advertise, market, and handle billing for students.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach drums.
• Flexibility to teach in various settings (in-person, at home, via webcam).
