Drums instructor needed in St. Augustine, FL

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Drums. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the St. Augustine, FL area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach drums lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Experience with remote teaching tools if preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Punctuality.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• No advertising, marketing, or SEO work required.
• All billing handled by the company.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

Schedule

You have the freedom to set your own schedule.

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
