About the role

This position will serve as a liaison between key industrial partners and the public sector, including state and local governments and education/workforce stakeholders at all levels. Serve as a primary point of contact for private investors. Interface with suppliers to understand their workforce requirements, pipeline, recruitment, retention, and difficulties they are facing related to the workforce. Work with multiple stakeholders across the region to expedite evaluation, determine critical areas, and assess how to fund SIB efforts that produce optimal return on investment. Contribute to human capital analysis and transformation projects to include proposing, planning, and managing tasks as needed. Lead analysis of workforce and resource requirements to include developing recommendations. Compile and manage human resources data and data visualizations. Manage HR data analysis to identify issues and develop recommendations. Lead meeting and workshop preparation and facilitation. Plan, conduct, coordinate and analyze research on industry trends and best practices in human capital. Analyze benchmark data to identify trends. Participate and as needed, lead to developing human capital solutions. Assist in identifying and capturing new human capital opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of War (DoW) SECRET security clearance.
  • A U.S. citizenship.
  • A Bachelor's degree in communications is preferred.
  • 10 years’ professional experience.
  • The proven ability to work independently and in a team.
  • A strong analytical and communications skills.
  • The ability to manage tasks and small projects.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Base/Supply Chain/Workforce within the Gulf Coast region is essential.
  • Experience conducting Data analysis and presenting results.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.

Qualifications

  • The ability to travel 10%.
