Drop/Count Team Member

Under the direct supervision of the Drop Team & Count Manager, the Drop & Count Team Member assists in the daily clearance of slot machines and soft-count in an efficient and secure manner, following Lucy Star Casino’s procedures and policies.

Schedule

Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, Monday through Sunday. Requests for specific days off require advance notification and approval by the Drop & Count Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all gaming machines are dropped
• Ensure table games (blackjack/poker) are dropped
• Perform soft count of gaming machines and table games
• Maintain all equipment in working condition
• Exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Drop and Count Manager/Supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, and pulling
• Hand and finger dexterity
• Hand and eye coordination
• Standing for long periods of time
• Ability to move objects up to and exceeding 30 lbs. with reasonable accommodations
• Must not be color blind
• Exposure to casino environment (cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke, bright flashing lights, loud mechanical noises, and crowds)
• No allergies to cleaning soaps, detergents, or other specified cleaning chemicals

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Must maintain a valid Cheyenne-Arapaho Gaming License
• Experience working in an environment such as an assembly line where repetitive action, grasping small objects from a moving line, and accountability for a defined amount of production in a specific period of time is required

Gaming License Disqualification Criteria

• Felonies: Absolutely no felonies within the past ten (10) years
• Misdemeanors: Theft/fraud within two (2) years results in automatic disqualification
• Domestic abuse/assault and battery within two (2) years results in automatic disqualification (unless proof of completion of a treatment program is provided)
• Drug/alcohol-related offenses within two (2) years result in automatic disqualification (unless proof of completion of a treatment program is provided)
