Job Description

The candidate will join a Research and Development team focused on inventing and developing new experiences. This role involves extensive travel and hands-on operation of remote-controlled aircraft, contributing to innovative projects. The position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills.

  • Operate remote-controlled aircraft with excellent coordination and execution.
  • Lead small teams during field operations.
  • Perform basic computer, PC hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Support Windows and server operating systems in a managed desktop environment.
  • Maintain customer focus and proactive engagement.
  • Uphold high standards for self and others in all tasks.
  • Travel up to 75% of the year for project assignments.
  • Safely lift up to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand or walk for extended periods, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Education

A BS Degree in computer science or a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience is required.

Experience

A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant work experience is required. This includes at least 2 years of remote-control pilot experience and a minimum of 200 flight hours as a Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC).

Technical Skills

  • Candidates must possess a 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, a valid Driver’s License, and detailed knowledge of basic computer concepts.
  • A solid understanding of networks, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Windows Server networking, is necessary.
  • Basic working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems is also required.
  • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE certification.
  • Additional vendor administrator level certifications, such as Apple ACMT/ACSP and Cisco CCNA.
  • Experience supporting Macintosh OS X (10.4 and upwards).

Compensation

COMPENSATION: $30- $40 HOURLY
