Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Operate drones via Remote Control
- Assist in the development and testing of cutting-edge safety-related technologies
- Perform mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties
- Conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed
- Support cross-team training for delivery site pre-launch tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in commercial drone piloting (bigger commercial drones)
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and paths
- Experience in the commercial UAS industry
- Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar
- Excellent business communications and reporting skills
- Part 107 license required (drone pilot)
- Attendance record with no significant issues
- Ownership principle, Biased for action, Deep dive-customer obsession, Insist on the highest standards
Pay & Benefits
The salary for this position is between $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, 10-15 days of paid vacation time, 6 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per calendar year, and access to the Ascendion Learning Management System.
