Driving Range Attendant-Maniac Hill-Seasonal

About the role

Maintain the driving range while accommodating guests' needs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up driving-range for daily play (Golf Academy, Upper Tee and Member’s Tee), pick/wash balls and continue maintaining driving-range appearance throughout the day.
• Pick-up and wash balls.
• Set-up short-game area and maintain throughout the day.
• Assist Golf Academy with morning set-up, periodic re-stocking range balls, resetting balls between classes and clean-up.
• Assist Learning Center when necessary.
• Maintain driving range equipment to include: club cleaners, baskets, bag racks, towels, and ropes.
• Responsible for the opening and closing driving-range procedures.
• Report all equipment problems to supervisor.
• Aid guests by cleaning clubs and bag transporting on and off the range.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of three months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be aware of surroundings with an understanding of a golf environment.
• Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls and must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, sit, ride, and walk.
• Occasionally use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions, and extreme heat.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
