Position Responsibilities
- Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
- Replaces golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Ensure the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
- Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
- Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- May perform small amount of mowing.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Strong guest service skills.
- Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
- Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to work well in fast paced environment.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be dependable.
Minimum Qualifications for the Range Attendant
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications
- Possesses basic math skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
