Educate and Instruct

Edifies students pursuing their driving licenses through on-the-road instruction focused on safe vehicle operation.

• Maintain awareness of various learning styles and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Instruct in a calm, patient, and personable manner to alleviate student anxiety and enhance learning.
• Observe students' driving abilities and provide instruction in safe driving techniques under different conditions.
• Maintain the safety of students throughout on-the-road instructional sessions.

Vehicle Maintenance and Safety

• Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable according to club guidelines.
• Remove snow, ice, and debris from vehicles before each use.
• Perform vehicle inspections and safety checks before operating the vehicle.
• Drive vehicles to nearby facilities for maintenance or repairs.

Administrative Support

• Assist with driving school administrative tasks.
• Transport students to road tests and Registry appointments.
• Train and guide new driving instructors/trainees.
• Provide training feedback to supervisors and employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree preferred.
• Less than 1 year driving instructor/trainee experience required.
• 1-3 years prior teaching experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Current State Driving Instruction Certificate or ability to obtain certification within 30 days required.
• Meet club insurance requirements, motor vehicle, and other pre-employment guidelines.
