Driver - Weekend Day

Weekend Day Shift, Week 1 - Sunday through Tuesday 3 AM - 3 PM, Week 2 - Sunday through Wednesday 3 AM - 3 PM

About the role

As a Driver, you will have a starring role as you provide daily freight solutions for our customers. In this position, you’ll be able to spend time at home at the end of your shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the assigned truck/trailer is always properly placarded to meet DOT regulations
• Coordinate work assignments with immediate supervisor to ensure customer orders are completed
• Communicate all work stoppages, equipment failures and significant work-related problems to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner
• Maintain adequate driving speeds, trip reports and logbooks
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers

Requirements

• 1 year of driving experience
• Class C license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally

Qualifications

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 consecutive years of driving experience
