Driver/Warehouse Associate

About the Role

A Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering material and warehouse and pipe yard operations, including pulling stock to fill customer orders, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and warehouse/yard maintenance and upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers on time, providing excellent customer service
• Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks; inspect material for minimum quality requirements
• Maintain site inventory by assisting in inventory audits
• Stock and transfer material, tools, and equipment to appropriate locations
• Mark material with correct identifying information
• Assemble customer orders from stock and package orders as per customer requirements
• Pull orders for delivery and stock transfers; load onto trucks or transfer to packing area using equipment
• Prepare documentation for outbound shipments and deliveries
• Transfer paperwork to Inside Sales or Management
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with safety policies
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
• Ensure personal and workplace safety, report hazards, injuries, or illness immediately
• Maintain punctual and reliable attendance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle policy
• Ability to learn company, federal, health, and safety regulations
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to provide legal work status documentation
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English for communication and safety compliance
• Ability to understand and comply with company guidelines, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies

Working Conditions

The role involves significant physical demands, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and fine finger dexterity. It requires 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing, with exposure to temperature extremes and some risk of injury or illness.
