Driver/ Warehouse Associate

About the role

At Landscapers Supply, our Driver / Yard-Warehouse Associates play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers and supporting daily yard and Warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles
• Verify delivery loads before leaving the store
• Deliver landscape materials such as mulch, sod, and power equipment
• Contact customers with delivery updates and estimated arrival times
• Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery records
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
• Absorb inventory and maintain yard appearance
• Safeguard warehouse and yard operations when not driving
• Wash and maintain delivery trucks and equipment
• Interact professionally and respectfully with customers
• Safely place deliveries in customer-requested locations
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and management in person and over radio

Requirements

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record for at least 7 years
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work safely around people, equipment, and vehicles
• Ability to work steadily in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, wheel loaders, or other heavy equipment
• Previous delivery, yard, warehouse, or landscaping experience
• Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
