Driver Warehouse Associate

Full-time position in Oxnard, California with a leading HVAC equipment distributor.

About the role

The Driver/Warehouse Associate manages warehouse inventory and delivers HVAC freight and materials daily. This role involves procuring, processing, dispatching, and transporting products to customers and vendors for an established wholesale HVAC distributorship.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Deliver and transport HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise; verify accuracy against orders.
• Pick and verify customer orders; prepare orders for shipment.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Maintain daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance; report in/out times and merchandise returns.
• Use and maintain OF device appropriately.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure warehouse and grounds are neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties; wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 22’ minimum box truck or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide superior customer service.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 6 months warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish).
• Preferred: Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Pay

$23–27 per hour.
