Driver/Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate is mainly responsible for helping with production of insulation products such as loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, operating a forklift, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position will also be a backup driver when needed and will deliver products to job sites based on a provided schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Ensures truck maintenance standards are met
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading

Requirements

• One year of experience in a production or warehouse environment, preferred
• One year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last five years, required
• Must have and be able to maintain a driving record that meets the company's insurance requirements, required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical card, required
• Experience operating a forklift, a plus
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs

Driving Duties

As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job are required to maintain a valid license and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider's requirements.
