About the role

Eden Tyre Sales is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant to join our distribution team at Codnor Gate Industrial Estate, Ripley, Derbyshire. This is a varied, hands-on role combining approximately 70% delivery driving with 30% warehouse duties, delivering tyres to our retail branches and wholesale customers across the region. Eden Tyres & Servicing, established in 1981, is a family-run business and one of the UK’s largest independent tyre retailers, with 29 retail branches and a wholesale division supplying garages across Central UK. Our warehouse and delivery fleet operate from Codnor Gate Industrial Estate, supplying tyres to our own branches and independent garages large and small. We’re a growing business with a friendly, down-to-earth team.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop tyre deliveries safely and efficiently
• Load and unload tyres from supplier deliveries and distribution vehicles
• Prepare and organise stock ready for deliveries
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed on time
• Carry out vehicle checks and follow health and safety procedures
• Support general warehouse duties as required

Requirements

• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling
• Confident driving and completing multiple deliveries each day
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience necessary

Pay

£29,744 – £30,992 per annum

Schedule

44 hours per week
Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 6:00 am – 1:00 pm (on a rota basis)
