Responsibilities

The Driver Supervisor DOT will directly manage the daily delivery process in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products to Ben E. Keith customers. The Driver Supervisor DOT reports to the Transportation Manager.

• Collaborate with peer supervisors to manage daily routes and activities of transportation personnel
• Enforce transportation policies and procedures to maintain equipment performance and ensure compliance of BEK safety and transportation guidelines
• Manage delivery operations to ensure complete customer satisfaction with internal and external customers
• Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the timely reporting of work activities, personnel time, expenditures and verify the efficient shipping and delivery of products
• Train new employees and guide current employees regarding routes, product delivery, completion of paperwork, and compliance with all safety requirements; and perform employee evaluations or disciplinary actions as needed
• Perform timely investigation and reporting of all accidents, injuries and incidents to appropriate personnel
• Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, a positive attitude and professional dress code

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent
