Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location.

• Deliver products and provide exceptional customer service.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6AM to 2:30PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW).
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Properly track and document the activity log.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude.

Qualifications

• A valid commercial driver’s license.
• Pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• A good driving record.
• One year of recent CDL B experience.
• One year of route delivery experience.
• One year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted).
• Strong work ethic.
