Driver Settlement Specialist

Location: Oklahoma City, OK | Full-Time, Hourly

About The Role

A well-established transportation company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its team. This position will focus on processing weekly driver payroll and settlements, reviewing compensation and deductions, and resolving pay discrepancies. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values accuracy, communication, accountability, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll and settlements accurately and on time.
• Calculate pay based on mileage, percentage pay, and other compensation structures.
• Review deductions, advances, holds, and other payroll activity.
• Research and resolve pay discrepancies and employee questions.
• Review agreements to ensure compensation is processed correctly.
• Work with Payroll, Operations, HR, Safety, Billing, and other departments.
• Review reports and maintain accurate payroll and settlement records.
• Assist with process improvements and additional payroll projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Payroll, driver settlement, transportation accounting, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet weekly deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
