About the Role
The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains accurate inventory records, monitors stock levels, and verifies quantities through physical counts. They compile reports on inventory balances, cycle counts, and discrepancies, ensuring shrinkage remains below company standards.
Responsibilities
- Count and record inventory, compare with office records, and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor inventory rotation and prepare related reports
- Maintain inventory accuracy, manage depleted items, and investigate defective stock
- Perform related duties to support efficient warehouse operations
- Count materials, compare records, investigate errors, and recommend inventory adjustments
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of inventory experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift 10-35 pounds regularly and up to 60-90 pounds occasionally
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry areas)
- Pass post-offer drug and background checks
