About the Role
The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting stock counts, verifying discrepancies, and preparing inventory reports to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and manage receipts and disbursements
- Recommend stock rotations and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Count materials, adjust errors, and maintain shrink standards
- Support the flow of products through the distribution process
- Count and verify stock, compare to records, and post inventory data
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare inventory reports and monitor inventory rotation
- Maintain inventory standards and recommend improvements
- Support accurate and efficient warehouse operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Over 1 year of inventory experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong math and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to work scheduled hours, including overtime
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift (10-35 pounds regularly, up to 90 pounds occasionally), and work in multi-temperature environments
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
