Driver/Production Assistant 1-Stockton Warehouse

About The Role

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is seeking a Production Assistant I to join our team. This position is responsible for managing daily routes, ensuring donations are handled safely, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily routing directions and avoid going off route without exception.
• Manage time to ensure routes are completed within the approved work schedule.
• Manage and supervise the loading and unloading of assigned trucks.
• Handle donations with proper safety procedures and protective equipment.
• Train and instruct truck helpers in workplace procedures.
• Complete pre and post-checks daily, reporting any exceptions to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and properly secured for transport.
• Treat customers courteously and provide excellent customer service.
• Report accidents, injuries, and property damage promptly to the supervisor.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, state and local laws, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic equipment and drive a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform various repetitive motion tasks.
