Responsibilities

• Operates Hotel Shuttle Service
• Ensures a delightful, seamless arrival and departure for guests
• Greets guests and welcomes them to the hotel and city
• Keeps current on hotel services and local attractions to answer guest questions and promote hotel services
• Handles all guest complaints, comments, observations, and challenges in a timely manner to achieve full guest satisfaction
• Drives shuttle to pick up and drop off guests to local destinations on a by-request or scheduled basis
• Follows airport procedures and shuttle traffic rules
• Logs trips and retains fuel receipts in accordance with hotel process
• Loads and unloads guest luggage from shuttle, using cart and transporting to guest room when required
• Keeps in contact with the front office and other drivers through provided radio equipment
• Cleans and maintains lobby area when not operating shuttle, including cart cleaning, polishing, washing front windows, and stocking newspapers
• Assists in other departments as shuttle schedule allows
• Assists in arranging taxi or other transportation services for guests traveling outside shuttle’s service area
• Keeps shuttle fueled and reports maintenance issues to engineering
• Picks up needed materials locally for departments when orders or shipping arrangements cannot be made
• Provides the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates genuine hospitality and exceeds guest expectations
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
• Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds solutions, and follows through when resolving guest problems
• Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork

Requirements

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to exceptional guest service
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures
• Adhere to safe driving practices and traffic laws
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• State Driver’s License with no restrictions that prevent operating hotel shuttle
• Ability to clear all necessary airport certification requirements

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit or stand for entire shift
• Able to drive for long periods, frequently stopping and getting in/out of vehicle
• Frequent walking while lifting
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates.
