Driver (Per Diem) - Cortland County Office for Aging (Multiple Positions)

About the role

The work involves responsibility for transporting clients to and from appointments and activities such as medical, school, work, shopping, recreation and other activities. In addition, the incumbent delivers meals or materials and maintains a daily log of transportation activities. The work is performed under the general supervision with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgement in carrying out the details of the work. Does related work as required.

Work hours & location

• Work Hours: Per Diem, up to 17hr/wk, no benefits
• Salary: $18.3660-23.2467/HR
• Location: Cortland County Office for Aging
• Status: Non-Competitive, Probationary

Minimum qualifications

• Possession of a valid New York State driver's license appropriate to the vehicles operated. Failure to maintain a NYS driver's license including driving privileges throughout employment will result in disciplinary action or dismissal.
• Pre-employment screenings required.
