Driver-Part Time On Call

Southwest Behavioral and Health Services is seeking a dedicated and friendly Driver to help fulfill our mission of delivering compassionate care to enhance lives and improve communities. We are looking for someone who loves working with people, enjoys driving, and has excellent communication skills.

About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for transporting clients to and from appointments. This is a part-time, as-needed role reporting directly to the Front Office Supervisor. You must be self-motivated and able to handle your own schedule, maps/directions, and transport responsibilities with minimal supervision. Work is performed in a company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation and maintain appropriate staff/client communications and relationships
• Assist consumers getting to and from the vehicle
• Report client behavioral concerns to appropriate staff
• Maintain transportation log, complete daily computer documentation, and billings
• Obey all traffic laws
• Adhere to agency policies and procedures, including Vehicle Operations Policy (SBH 1 E 11 00), Approved Driver Procedure (SBH 1 E 11 01), and Use of Agency Vehicles (SBH 1 E 11 03)
• Maintain current training requirements
• Monitor and document safety/mechanical concerns daily and report concerns to supervisor and Risk Management
• Perform additional job duties as required to meet the needs of the program and/or department

Requirements

• Minimum of 22 years of age
• Current, valid Arizona driver’s license in accordance with SBH insurance standards
• Must pass a 39-month Motor Vehicle Report
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay

$15.15 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, as needed, with flexibility to work during clinic operating hours. Reporting location: Prescott Valley Outpatient.
