Pickup and Operations
- Pick up food daily from local vendors
- Record, weigh, and log temperatures of donated items
- Assist in receiving, unloading, shelving, and keeping inventory of food
- Sort and distribute donated bread, sweets, chips, and other food items while keeping appropriate records
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
Training and Compliance
- Become food safety trained as required through the Cleveland Food Bank
Inventory and Record Keeping
- Record in-kind donations received through pantry/warehouse
Behavioral Expectations
- Represent the ideals and integrity of The Salvation Army in the highest possible ethical and moral business conduct
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Must have a valid driver's license
Additional Information
- Background check is required through the Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation (BCII)
