About the role

As a CDL Driver OTR, you will operate a company vehicle to collect, service, and maintain used oil filter bins while ensuring the appearance, operation, and maintenance of the vehicle. Health and safety are our top priorities, and we uphold these standards year-round.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
• Operate a company collection truck (100+ miles daily) in the Mid-Atlantic States, including NC, SC, VA, GA, TN, MD, and KY.
• Perform daily inspections of the interior and exterior of the company vehicle.
• Inspect loads for safe hauling and handling.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly log sheets.
• Complete service receipts for all customers using a handheld device.
• Collect and transport used oil filters in compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Deliver other products and services as required by customers.
• Provide sales leads for all divisions of the company.
• Perform job duties in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
• Heavy lifting, climbing ladders or stairs, and overnight travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs.
• Willingness to stay out of town and overnight as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
