Driver (Non-CDL) - Home Every Night, No Weekends

About the role

Famous Supply Drivers handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers. Non-CDL Drivers deliver to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Each morning, the driver’s route is uploaded onto a company-provided Smartphone that navigates to each stop. Drivers assist with loading the truck and review orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. Driver associates also assist in the warehouse when needed.

Starting wage is $21/hour plus annual bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Help load truck
• Use Smartphone to navigate to stops on-time
• Unload materials for customer
• Verify delivery for accuracy
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements

• Ability to drive large vehicles
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Acceptable driving record (less than 4 points)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to use a Smartphone

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Customer service experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Warehouse experience
• RF Scanner experience

Pay
