About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Delivery Driver to deliver and pick up various equipment and supplies to customer worksites. This role operates a vehicle with a gross weight of less than 26,000 pounds in diverse driving conditions, including construction zones, urban, suburban, and rural traffic. Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies to/from customer worksites.
• Operate a delivery vehicle safely in various driving conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely paperwork.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Work indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment based on the assigned store’s fleet.
• Detail orientation for accurate and timely paperwork.
• Bilingual skills may be required at some locations.

Skills

• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely in a variety of driving situations and conditions.
• Physical ability to handle tasks requiring bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50+ pounds.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $20.31 - $30.46 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.

Related experience may include: Roll-Back Driver, Flatbed Driver, Delivery Driver, Route Driver, Box Truck Driver, Stakebody Driver, or Appliance Delivery.
