About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Delivery Driver. As a driver, you will deliver and pick up various equipment and supplies to customer worksites. This role operates a vehicle with a gross weight of less than 26,000 pounds in various driving conditions, including construction zones, urban, suburban and rural traffic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up various equipment and supplies to customer worksites
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in a variety of driving situations and conditions
• Complete timely and accurate paperwork

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with customers
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to operate delivery vehicle safely in variety of driving situations and conditions
• Knowledge of tools and equipment based on assigned store's fleet
• Detail orientation to ensure timely, accurate paperwork
• Bilingual speakers may be required at some locations

Physical demands

This role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Pay

Base pay range: $21.38 – 32.06 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
