Driver (Multi-State)

About the role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and verification of customer orders while maintaining good customer relations. Additional duties may be assigned by management, including warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and verification of customer orders
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform other duties assigned by management, including warehouse duties
• Maintain all appropriate driver logs and reports
• Perform warehouse duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Driving record:
  • No more than three (3) chargeable or preventable motor vehicle accidents within the past three (3) years
  • No more than three (3) moving violations within the last 12 months
  • No speeding violations of 15 MPH or more over the posted speed limit in the past 12 months
• Must be able to make local and regional deliveries in multiple states
• Must be able to gain access to some local military bases
• Must be able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Must be able to speak English (bilingual is a plus)
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Overnight stays required (company-paid hotels and meals provided)

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred but not necessary

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50–70 pounds (occasionally up to 100 pounds)
