DRIVER

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport products to and from customer locations and job sites.
• Load and deliver customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Verify orders for accuracy before loading and unloading.
• Manually, load, secure, and protect materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Obtain required signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers regarding delivery schedules or delays.
• Complete a daily vehicle inspection and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including loading/unloading trucks and organizing materials.
• Serve as the primary representative of S.A. Morman and Co. when interacting with customers, by upholding our reputation for quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Class B driver's license preferred.
• Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs. regularly: occasionally 100 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and loading techniques.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Familiarity with basic delivery documentation and mobile delivery apps a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
