Driver Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

About the role

The Driver reports to the Director of Operations ("DOO") or management designee. The essential functions include driving company vehicles to customer locations for service needs, reporting to work on time, meeting department productivity and quality standards, accepting change in directions, working in a team environment, following company policies, and carrying out other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for service needs.
• Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position.
• Meet department productivity and quality standards.
• Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to direction.
• Work with customers to fulfill customer service requests.
• Handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
• Reach, handle, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.
• Use handheld devices and electric pickers.
• Put tire chains on company vehicles if necessary due to inclement weather.

• Must be able to stand and walk, sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass MVR Check, background check, and random drug screens.
• Must be able to work overtime and available around the clock including holidays.
• Must have strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
• Commercial Driver’s License, if applicable.

Must be able to tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

Physical demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

Education and eligibility requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• MVR Check.
• Background check.
• Must be able to pass random drug screens.
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
