Driver Mobile Services (CASUAL)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mobile Health Unit Driver. This position offers the opportunity to drive safely and efficiently while making a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport the mobile health unit and staff to the work site in the morning and from the work site back to home location at the end of the day
• Follow the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the mobile unit is in good working condition

Requirements

• Have excellent driving skills with a clean driving record, always ensuring the safety of all passengers
• Be knowledgeable of local traffic laws and regulations, as well as the skills to navigate different routes efficiently
• Show patience and good communication skills
• Display exceptional time management skills to maintain a strict schedule and ensure staff are dropped off/picked up at designated locations on time

What It Takes

• A high-school diploma or GED
• An active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
• A clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years
• Experience driving a bus or similar vehicle
• Must be over the age of 21
