About the role

This position is a full-time, C Shift role (8PM-6:30AM) based in Lockbourne, OH. The role involves driving company vehicles to deliver and recover freight, interacting with warehouse and data center teams, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state commercial driving standards.

Responsibilities

  • Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks.
  • Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations.
  • Perform and maintain daily safety checks on assigned vehicle.
  • Perform and maintain daily security checks on freight being moved.
  • Deliver and recover freight to/from customer locations using company vehicles.
  • Maintain radio or telephone contact.
  • Interact with warehouse/data center team members to maximize output and efficiency.
  • Adapt to frequent change requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for any Hazardous Materials being moved.
  • Inspect truck and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness and notify supervisor of repairs.
  • Use RF and/or Computer System for Trailer Inventory Control.
  • Meet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers, including DOT and FMCSR regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
  • 25% of time spent climbing (ascending/descending stairs, using feet, legs, hands, and arms).
  • Up to 25% of time spent kneeling (bending legs at knee).
  • Up to 25% of time spent crouching (bending body downward and forward).
  • 25-75% of time spent reaching (extending hands and arms in any direction).
  • 25-75% of time spent standing, particularly for sustained periods.
  • 25-75% of time spent walking (moving about on foot to accomplish tasks).
  • 25-75% of time spent pushing (using upper extremities to press against objects).
  • More than 75% of time spent pulling (using upper extremities to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects).
  • 25-75% of time spent lifting (raising objects from lower to higher positions or moving horizontally).
  • 25-75% of time spent on repetitive motions (wrists, hands, shoulders, and/or fingers).
  • 25-75% of time spent grasping (applying pressure with fingers and palm).
  • 25-75% of time spent talking (conveying detailed or important spoken instructions).
  • 25-75% of time spent hearing (receiving detailed information through oral communication).

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $26.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
