Driver Improvement Trainer (59290)

Educates and instructs students on defensive driving in a classroom setting.

Maintains an awareness of various students learning styles and adjusts instruction appropriately

Provides instruction in a patient, calm, and personable manner to reduce student anxiety, cater to various learning styles and enhance the learning experience.

Affords assistance with various administrative tasks.

Adheres to all department policies and procedures, including accurate recording of student hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Driver Training Experience required
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred
• Education or Training Experience preferred
• Upon Hire Required State Driving Instruction Certification (where applicable)
