Driver Helper - Non CDL

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) is a subsidiary of GSF, founded in 2006. Based in Frisco, Texas, QCD provides custom last‑mile distribution for food‑service customers across the United States, delivering over 37,000 orders weekly from 25 distribution centers. The company operates a fleet that drives more than 40 million miles per year and supports the GSF Foundation nonprofit.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with CDL drivers to assist with daily delivery routes.
• Load and unload products at customer locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or by hand.
• Provide outstanding customer service at every stop, serving as the friendly face of QCD.
• Assist with paperwork, route documentation, and accurate order verification.
• Help guide trucks safely during tight turns, loading docks, and parking situations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Previous experience in food distribution or frozen food handling (preferred).
• Ability to read labels, verify orders, and follow delivery instructions accurately.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Schedule

Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays. Typically a 4‑day work week. All trailers are equipped with lift gates (no ramps). Touch freight with repetitive lifting of 75 + lb.

Pay

$19.67 per hour, paid weekly (every Friday).
