Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation to residents, guests, and designated visitors.
• Drive facility vehicles to local restaurants, shopping centers, physicians' offices, and other various locations, as well as special activities and events, as scheduled and assigned.
• Maintain vehicle logs, purchase gas, and ensure that preventative maintenance and inspection schedules are kept current on all facility vehicles.
• Perform minor vehicular maintenance as needed and ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicles are kept clean and presentable at all times.
• May be asked to provide general assistance to the Concierge desk and perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned.
• Work in well-maintained, clean, and modern vehicles and may also work in well-lighted, well-ventilated buildings.
• Work during daytime and nighttime hours and in varied weather conditions.
• Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current Commercial Drivers License as required by the State of Pennsylvania
• Safe driving record
• Thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and belief in the facility's philosophy
• Well-groomed appearance and courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner
• Previous transportation experience preferred
• Able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently
