Driver Education Instructor

Location: Fairport, NY 14450 and component school districts (Brighton, Fairport, Penfield, Webster, West Irondequoit). Term: Per Diem - Afternoons for the 2026-2027 school year. Starting date: September 2026.

Pay

$42.50 per hour. Actual salary is dependent upon education, experience, and contract.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Driver and Traffic Safety Education curriculum.
• Provide a high level of safety and supervision for students while driving on the road.
• Assess students' driving skills.

Requirements

• Hold a NYS Driver Education Teacher Certification: MV-283 "Approved" designation with secondary teacher certification or MV-283 with "Restricted" designation.
• Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience teaching Driver Education preferred.
• Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
