Driver Delivery Trainee

About the Role

The Driver Trainee operates Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated equipment under the supervision of a CDL‑certified Keurig Dr Pepper employee to obtain the required hours for a CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Provide shelf merchandise to stores upon request by manager or customer.
• Deliver product to scheduled accounts in good condition and within the scheduled delivery time.
• Ensure brands and packages are rotated properly, safeguarding against past‑dated products.
• Observe trainer to compute and record transactions and convey all related cash, checks, and documents to the Route Auditor.
• Acquire the driving skills needed to obtain a Class A CDL within a specified period.
• Account for cash/credit proceeds and products removed from inventories.
• Observe and train on how to maintain the assigned vehicle in accordance with applicable safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Current valid driver’s license with Class B CDL or Class A CDL permit.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00 am until the route is finished.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Local routes.

Pay

Starting at $22.18 per hour, with an increase to $23.28 per hour after the six‑month anniversary.
