About the role
The Logistics Driver is responsible for driving tractor-trailers, tandem trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and/or interstate routes to pick up and deliver Logistics' and other related product loads.
Responsibilities
- Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule.
- Perform load and paperwork inspections including product counts, invoices, quality checks, and other related items.
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
- Advising direct supervisor of load drop-off/pick-up issues, schedule changes, and other related information.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and Company safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of commercial driving experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Meet the medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Experience in foodservice distribution industry preferred.
