Driver Crew Leader - Maintenance (50272)

About the Role

Juniper is seeking Crew Leaders for our Landscape Maintenance teams. Crew Leaders perform work on the jobsites and lead other crew members in a safe and quality manner to ensure beautiful landscapes for our clients. They may oversee our mowing crews, landscape pruning/detail crews, or a combination of these landscape operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for mowing and/or pruning crews
• Maintain production schedules and ensure maintenance service expectations are met
• Assist with training and development of crew members
• Perform daily time-keeping of work hours on jobsites for crew members
• Ensure all crew members perform their work in a safe manner
• Ensure equipment is in working order and properly maintained
• Use hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape duties
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record review
• Landscaping experience and prior supervisory experience
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to work for long periods outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight
• Ability and willingness to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to use hand tools and power equipment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
