Driver Courier
We serve on the frontlines of key programs around the U.S. and globally. In this role, you are a critical part of the delivery chain—transporting important medical specimens, records, documents, and supplies on and around military bases while providing exemplary support and care to our clients.
About the role
As a Full-time Courier, you will drive an automobile or light truck to pick up and deliver medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, records, and supplies at designated locations for military installations and clinics. You will transport items in compliance with commercial standards and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996, obtain receipts for delivered articles, maintain logs of items received and delivered, and distribute messages, documents, packages, and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies.
This position is contingent upon availability; selected applicants may be hired but cannot begin work until the position is available.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard all Government-owned property provided for Medical Courier Services.
- Transport containers furnished by the Government, which may vary in size and number based on workload. The average container size is approximately 18" (H) x 24" (W) x 24" (L), with a maximum filled weight of 50 pounds. Up to 100 containers may be transported daily.
- Ensure mission-essential deliveries are completed daily in accordance with defined delivery dates and times for our customer, primarily Monday through Friday (excluding standard holidays).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and no extensive traffic violations or criminal history.
- Ability to complete an SF85P (Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions) and obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
- Compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule of 1996.
- Ability to lift containers up to 50 pounds and move/transport up to 100 containers daily (average size: 18" H x 24" W x 24" L).
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Courier.
- Familiarity with military installations.

Pay
$19.42 per hour plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare.
