Courier Driver

Description

This position is recommended for applicants who do not have another job or are attending school. Responsibilities include driving a variety of vehicles such as cars, trucks, and vans, and possessing knowledge of local and highway roadway systems. The role involves transporting clients, supplies, materials, mail, and other items. When transporting clients, professionalism and courtesy are required. During non-driving times, ancillary help in other work areas, such as light maintenance or housekeeping tasks, may be needed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license
• Familiar with basic vehicle maintenance and travel logs
• Familiar with the Capital District area, NYC area, Saranac Lake area, and Rochester area
• High school diploma or GED

Pay

Pay Rate: $16.20 - $19.74 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
