The Class B Delivery Driver role at Imperial Dade is available in Birmingham, AL. This position is part of a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, aiming to support the business's growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• One year of recent CDL B experience
• One year of route delivery experience
• One year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
