Responsibilities

• Handle, load/unload product, secure the load, make multiple deliveries, and provide excellent customer service and reports to the Branch Operations Manager.
• Ensure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Maintain truck and driving records by reporting information, completing driver logs, and truck performance forms.
• Comply with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures (essential functions of the job).

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with two (2) years of verifiable, accident‑free driving experience, or completion of a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck driving school (training provided through OBE’s comprehensive driver’s training program).
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Hold a valid Class B license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate of physical qualification.
