Driver Class B

Role Overview: Responsible for safe, professional pick-up and delivery between service centers and customers, involving manual handling and operating straight trucks in a multi-temperature environment. Key Duties Operate straight trucks and ensure timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service.Secure freight with appropriate tools, perform daily safety inspections, and follow dispatch instructions.Handle freight using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual tools; assist with loading/unloading.Complete documentation, verify shipments, and maintain accurate records.Comply with hazardous material regulations and company policies; perform minor repairs as needed.Perform other operational duties, including tire chaining and freight handling. Qualifications & Skills Valid CDL-Class B license with hazardous materials and tank endorsements.At least one year of recent experience with similar-sized vehicles or completion of a driver development course.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, sit for extended periods, and follow instructions.Good math skills and understanding of route schedules.Ability to work independently or in a team, and adapt to indoor/outdoor conditions in all weather. Working Conditions: Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials; driving on various roads and weather conditions.
